  Best country motel we stayed in. Friendly owner Doug greeted us with glass of wine. Large comfortable room with all facilities. And a fabulous cooked breakfast included in very reasonable price.

  I stayed here with 3 colleagues from Queensland Health. Doug and his wife made us feel very welcome and cooked us gorgeous meals for breakfast and dinner. We also had fresh cut flowers in all of our rooms on arrival. I can only recommend this place to anyone who wishes to stay in Surat.

  I was treated like royalty, a very happy atmosphere at a great price and an absolutely excellent breakfast to greet me when I awoke. It doesn't stop there.

  When I arrived I was asked if I would enjoy a cold crisp beer on the house as well as more toast and juice with my breakfast.

  Excellent customer service, the best I have had anywhere. Doug is such a lovely man, very warm and welcoming. Breakfast was great. Room was very comfortable.

  Very comfortable motel were pleasantly surprised to find this type in small country town owner Doug was very welcoming we arrived at 8.30 pm and rang Doug he met us at motel and showed us to our room, under cover parking was good. For a very small fee Doug cooked breakfast for my husband which was bacon, egg, sausage, baked beans. I had a continental breakfast which he did not charge for. Very nice, big verandah with table and chairs which we made use of for breakfast, my only fault was at 5 o'clock in morning 2 blokes who had an early morning start used the table at our window and were dragging the chairs around and talking really loud. But overall would definitely stay there again if passing through Surat .
